Krafton has rolled out the BGMI 4.0 Spooky Soiree Update, giving players in India access to fresh game modes, supernatural companions, and exclusive events. The update is now available on bothAndroid and iOS platforms with a phased release schedule.
The update began its rollout on Sept. 11, 2025. Android users received it in stages—30 per cent at 6:30 a.m. IST, 50 per cent at 9:30 a.m., and full coverage by 11:30 a.m. The iOS version became accessible to all players at 11:30 a.m. IST. The APK file was made available on the official BGMI site at 12:30 p.m. IST.
How to Download BGMI 4.0 Update
For Android devices:
* Visit the Google Play Store and search for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).
* Tap Update if already installed, or Install for new downloads.
* Open the game to finish downloading required in-game resources.
For iOS devices:
* Go to the App Store and search for BGMI.
* Select Update to get the latest version.
* Complete in-game downloads before entering the new features.
For APK installation:
* From 12:30 p.m. IST, the APK is available at the BGMI official website.
* Enable Installations from unknown sources in device settings.
* Download, install the file, and open BGMI to access additional content.
